| Our strategic objective is to
strengthen the position of Mostostal – Energomontaż in the steel
structures manufacturing and assembling sector. In the long-term
future a dynamic growth in demand for steel products is anticipated,
based on investments planned in the power and petrochemical industries.
In our opinion, the value of these investments in these sectors
may reach several dozen billion zloty and therefore in 2008 we
plan to open another manufacturing plant in Gliwice.
We want to use this opportunity, which is being provided by the increase in investments
in these sectors, to offer a full manufacturing cycle: from
procurement of materials, their processing, through to assembly.
This allows us to compete for contracts as a general contractor.
Thanks to the diversification of revenue between trade, manufacturing
and services, we are able to achieve higher margins and reduce
the risk of economic fluctuations on the market.
Mostostal – Energomontaż S.A. has also
been planning to strengthen its position as one of the leading
steel distributors in Poland, by significantly increasing its
range by importing metallurgical products, amongst others.
Due to good relationships with the main shareholder – Zakłady
Magnezytowe “Ropczyce” in the future we will be able to offer
a comprehensive service supplemented by a range of products
supplied by a manufacturer of refractory materials.
